Storywalk

I now work for a division of Pittsburgh's Parks and Recreation Dept. called Citiparks Special Programs. This division of civil service focuses and services the city with creative support and every year we present an event called Storywalk to benefit early literacy. This was my first year, I had no idea what to expect and I was surprised at how large it was. The event drew a crowd of about 7,000 people. Top is an ant from a children's book that I recreated and bottom is a 8.5 feet tall Kangaroo of my own design. It was quite an undertaking.
