This is a painting that I did about 6 months ago in one of my painting classes. I wanted to experiment a bit with the skin tones of someone with dark complection. Previous to this piece I had only limited experience with acrylic and even far more limited experience with portraiture. the end result turned out to be an extremely rewarding adventure.
